WIC Phone Appointments
NH WIC has new waivers in place that allow for some visits to be offered over the phone through September, 2026. An in-person visit will be required at least once per year. WIC is committed to providing you with continued support now and in the future.
The following information will help you complete your WIC phone appointments successfully when allowed.
What to Expect
A WIC Nutrition staff person will call you at the phone number you provided to your local WIC office at your scheduled appointment time. During the appointment, you will be asked a series of personal questions, so find a private, quiet space to complete the appointment. The WIC staff person will enter information into a computer, so you may experience short delays during the conversation. If you do not currently have an appointment scheduled, please call your local office to set up your appointment.
Internet Access
If possible, have this page open in order to make it easier to access the information needed to complete the appointment. See teh Documents and Resources for WIC Appointments section below.
Other Information Needed
The WIC staff person will let you know what you need to do in order to complete the appointment by phone. You may be asked to send images of the following documents electronically to your local office's secure email or text number if you are comfortable doing so.
- Proofs - such as income, identity and residency; and
- measurements for height/length, weight or an iron check from a recent doctor's visit, when available
If you do not have any recent measurements or you do not feel comfortable sending documents to the WIC office electronically, you can mail a copy to the office or bring them with you to your next appointment.
