SOR (State Opioid Response) Grant
Through the NH SOR Grant, the NH Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will continue to strengthen and expand a comprehensive approach to address the needs and gaps in the substance misuse continuum of care including health promotion and prevention, intervention, treatment, harm reduction and recovery support services.
The Doorway - You are not alone.
SOR funding led to the establishment of The Doorways on January 1, 2019. The 9 Doorway locations throughout the State create clear points of entry for any resident with a substance use disorder (SUD) with help less than an hour away. Funding is expanding access so that all the Doorways help clients access MAT, peer recovery supports services, and evidence-based prevention programs, among other activities.
Data Collected from the Doorways
On January 1, 2019, The Doorways began working with individuals looking for information about and referrals to treatment and recovery services. The Doorways work with 211 to ensure help is available on a 24/7 basis. Data that is collected from 211 and The Doorways are posted on a monthly basis. Visit The Doorways Data Metrics page to view the monthly summary of the Doorway activity.
