New Hampshire Hospital COVID-19 Response
Information regarding the New Hampshire Hospital COVID-19 Response
Visiting hours are seven days per week 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Please do not visit if:
- you have COVID-19 symptoms (cough, runny nose, etc.)
- have a known COVID-19 close contact within past 10 days
- or have confirmed COVID-19 in the last 10 days
Instead, please reach out to the patient's Social Worker to facilitate virtual visits or consults.
New Hampshire Hospital no longer requires universal masking for in person visits while COVID-19 community levels are low and community transmission is not high. Please note that we will continue to provide masks at the front entrance for all who need or want to wear them. Patients and their visitors may also use the main cafeteria to visit if the patient is able to leave the unit. Otherwise there are designated areas for visitation on the units.
The NHH Senior Management Team and clinical leadership continue to stay current on guidelines for COVID-19 response from the CDC and NH Department of Public Health on which we base our organizational requirements.
We will continue to monitor COVID-19 hospitalizations, staff infection rates, potential local outbreaks, CDC weekly county community levels, transmission levels as well as any regulatory mandates to guide decision making. There will be times when we may need to move to a higher COVID-19 response level requiring implementation of universal masking in specific units or work areas or even across the organization. Our COVID-19 response level is posted upon entry to the facility. Visitors are encouraged to call in advance if you have any questions about our visitation policies or current masking requirements.
